Prudence Whittlesey painted the series titled You Might Just Be Right with a preternaturally quiet studio model. Their silent studio relating was mutually acknowledged without any spoken personal narrative feeding into the work.

When Whittlesey looked at the studio model, his gaze was always fixed on her eyes. He stood, rather than sat, for three hours. He usually slept in a chair during 15-minute break periods. Every painting was completed in his presence, with few exceptions, in this year-long project.
